Sorry didnt see this post before ...

you could program it so that the same user cant post to the same thread twice within 30 seconds or it displays an message "your message has been posted, you cant post again for x seonds"." ... You just need to check the last datestamp and the user. You could even go as far as comparing the messages... Just a thought!

Anyway, I bought my license of this recently, only just started playing with it today though ... doubt ill do any of the above ;-)

I saw your double post and removed it. The reason that happened is you hit the stop button when it was being posted, which cancelled the javascript which disables double posting, and then you hit post again. I don't think there's any way to stop that - I can't programatically stop you from hitting the stop button in your browser.

You can create duplicate posts quite easily.

1. Type out your message.
2. Hit Post / Start Thread Button
3. Realise you haven't bloody checked the option to receive a notification reply email that really should be on by default and for those who wish be configurably turned off within their user profile.
4. Hit browser stop button.
5. Check tick box
6. Hit Preview.
7. Hit Post

I know, i know .... but beleive it does happen .. check your suggestions forum ;-)
