e-mail configuration

You have to use a valid mail server, which can actually send and receive email. Also make sure your mail server will accept connections from the IP address of your local machine.

I have the forum running in a local IIS site, using XP. When registering a new user I am unable to get a response e-mail. Do you have any pointers where I should look for the problem? I realise that this may be my local settings not the forum configuration. I have attached a copy of the web.config file.
