Password Protect Admin Section

It's not that the admin folder is not password protected, we just recommend using IIS security, not cookie-based security, since it's so much more secure.
If you don't know how to password protect a folder in IIS, you can read how here:

Password Protect Admin Section

Hey guys, our company has just purchased the enterprise version of the forum. We've no errors so far, so all is good in that regard.

However, from a functionality stand-point, we need to know the best recommended way to password protect the admin section. From what I understand, the feature is not included with the forum. From your experience, what was the best approach to this?
